1. What’s your all-time favorite TV show? This one sounds pretty good.

5. My ex-step-brother posted a picture of himself asleep on the toilet on Facebook this week. I know, it sounds like the set-up to a joke, but I assure you it is not. America, I know this is an unpopular opinion, but sometimes divorce is the best gift you can give your children.

9. Here is a terrible thought I accidentally had and now cannot purge: Ron Paul used to be a gynecologist. Like, with gloves and a speculum and a cotton swab. He would tell you to just relax. Do you think he talked about the gold standard while he palpated his patients’ ovaries? Imagine Ron Paul asking you how many sexual partners you’ve had in the past year, and then examining your breasts. I’M SORRY BUT IF I HAVE TO LIVE WITH THIS THEN SO DO YOU.

Is it bad I got a little turned on by the Ron Paul thing? Eh, nevermind. That is totally bad and very wrong.
Classic ex-stepbrother maneuver. They’re so predictable (just kidding, that’s gross).
I agree whole-heartily that compassion informs wisdom, and that the humanities are worthwhile as they allow us to experience compassion for people and situations far from our own lives. Don’t kill the humanities!
Anyway.
I love Tim Gunn so much. I am heartbroken for him, and proud of him. I just love him.

These are great. The Tim Gunn thing made me sad too, and thank you for that terrible ron paul thought. By “thank you” I mean “you’re the devil.”
