Lord, Help Me To Finish Everything I Sta–
You know how I’m always saying I don’t believe in new age stuff, or self-help books, or easy therapy cliches, but then I totally buy into all that stuff anyway?
I am a fool for the Myer’s-Briggs personality type indicators.
My name is [redacted], and I am the INFP-est person who ever INFPed.
Special INFP personality traits:
- Not very realistic and practical
- Highly intuitive about people
- Nurturing and supportive
- Hate conflict and criticism
- Very flexible
- They find day to day activities unfulfilling
Love life:
INFPs have the tendency to have an idealistic and romantic view of relationships and are idealizing their partners more than most of the other types. They are looking for deep and meaningful relationships and are active in the search for this…
See? I’m NOT a loser, I’m a sensitive, idealistic dreamer! (More INFP stereotypes that are actually written about me personally here.) (Wait, is narcissism one of the traits?)
This isn’t even the site I usually refer to, but it is dead-on, as they all are. It even says something I have never seen before: that the symbolic animal for INFPs is the turtle. I have been saying that the turtle is my spirit animal for 25 years–and lapsed Catholic agnostics don’t even have spirit animals.
Do you know your type? (I swear there used to be free tests all over the internet, but this is the only one I can find now.) Do you believe the type characteristics are accurate, or is it all just crap, like horoscopes?
The whole reason I wrote this was so that I could post this, found via Meridith, Click to enlarge.

I have trouble remembering which Meyers-Briggs type I am, no matter how many times I take the test. I know I’m an “I”, and I THINK I’m an INTJ.
I *think* I’m an ISFJ, because that description is spot on. “Does not seek positions of authority.” YES. Yes, please hide me in a corner happily.
Took your test. Apparently I’m an ISFJ. Who knew? Sounds about right, though.
hmm. law school did change me. i used to be ENTJ; now i’m ESTJ. that’s different. and while the description on the test site is pretty spot-on, the one from the picture is 100% me. for better and for worse, i suppose…
I’m an INTP or, if it’s the me of ten years ago, an ENTP. Is that even possible? Well, it was borderline either way. Both fit me to a tee! The rules…must try to follow the rules.
I’m very solidly in the SJ group, but my I/E has fluctuated at times and I’m on the T/F border. So I’m very much what they said about the SJs: the protectors. Traditional, accurate, hardworking, etc. But I’m a little like all four SJ types. I love Myers-Briggs. Invented by a mother-daughter team.
I love the image you have here! Some of these tests could use a good kick in the “fun!”
Oh and if ya’ll have an feedback on the test, let me know and I’ll see what I can do. Good day!
PS) I’m a bit ashamed at how long it took me to catch on to the site title pun… slow weekend.
INFP. ALL. THE. WAY.
I swear that we’re kindred spirits. I swear.
